Officially Fall - Knox County Scenic Drive

Around here, it isn't officially fall for most folks until the first two weekends of October when it is time for the Knox County Scenic Drive. For the past two years I have been out at Woodland View Farm, selling prints and taking photos.

Woodland View is a real working Horse farm. Some horses belong to the farm for lessons and some belong to others and are boarded at the farm.

The farm is patrolled by the Dogs who live there, they keep an eye on everyone, especially anyone with food.

This year besides visiting the petting zoo and seeing Dolly Llama....

...there is a Mule drawn wagon ride.

The enterprising young son of a friend had gourds for sale.

There was also a carriage ride around the farm, pulled by this big guy.

The farm has plenty of wonderful things to see and animal to visit.

There are plenty of photographic opportunities. This pas year the Mule-drawn wagon, took a trip out to see the beginnings where a historic fort will be erected.

A couple of historical re-enactors were camping on the property, and they spent time visiting with those on the wagon tour.
